50 Years of Women: Book Pitches!
Thank you so much for your interest in this project! In recognition of 50 years of coeducation at Yale College and 150 years of coeducation at Yale University, the Women's Leadership Initiative at Yale will be publishing a book of stories from alumni and current students. We are hoping to collect pitches from as many people as possible in order to make this representative of the many students who have come through Yale in the last 50 years. Please share this link widely!

In your pitch, please think of a specific story from your time at Yale. Final essays will be approximately 1,000 words in length. We are looking for personal narratives of events, specifically in relation to women's experiences at Yale -- feel free to submit this form multiple times if you have several stories you would like to pitch.

A few logistical notes:
-This book will be curated and edited by Ananya Kachru (2022), Jennifer Huang (2022), and Avery Arena (2021) through the Women's Leadership Initiative at Yale.
-We will publish around 50 essays total.
-Any Yale College or grad school alum or student is welcome to submit an essay pitch.

We will be collecting pitches until February 15th. We will let you know if your pitch has been chosen by March 1st.

Please direct any questions or concerns to remembering50@yale.edu.

We look forward to reading your stories!
